The Buddh Jyoti Foundation (BJF), established in 2010 by Mr. Kapeel Barsaiyan, is dedicated to creating lasting change and empowering communities. With a focus on education, healthcare, gender equality, and sustainability, BJF addresses the most pressing challenges like poverty, malnutrition, lack of education, and inadequate healthcare. Through flagship initiatives such as PRAGYA (Education), YOGYA (Women’s Empowerment), and AROGYA (Health / Sanitation & Environmental Sustainability), BJF provides vital support including nutritious meals, skill development, health check-ups, and sanitation. BJF’s mission is to inspire change, build brighter futures, and ensure no one is left behind. Together, we can empower lives and create a more inclusive, sustainable world.
We envision a future where every child is nourished, educated, and empowered to unlock their full potential. We aspire to see women as self-reliant leaders, fostering healthier, more equitable communities. Through our transformative initiatives—Pragya, Yogya, and Arogya—we are dedicated to turning rural and underserved areas into thriving hubs of opportunity. Our mission is to empower individuals to lead purposeful, fulfilling lives, in harmony with each other and the planet. Together, we will build a future where every person has the chance to thrive and contribute to a stronger, more sustainable world.
Aligned with India’s vision for a healthier, more educated nation, we are committed to building a sustainable future. With 35.5% of children suffering from malnutrition (UNICEF), we prioritize holistic child development, offering quality education and nutritious meals. We empower women by providing skills for self-sufficiency, promoting economic independence, and strengthening community foundations. By tackling these urgent challenges, we strive to uplift individuals, transform communities, and create a brighter, more equitable future. Together, we are driving change, creating opportunities, and building a stronger, more inclusive tomorrow.
Imagine the vibrant villages of India, full of culture yet weighed down by significant challenges. Millions of children battle hunger and lack of education, while women, the heart of these communities, are held back by outdated traditions and limited opportunities. At Buddh Jyoti Foundation, we believe in the immense untapped potential of every individual. We empower children with access to quality education, nutritious meals, and constant support. We uplift women by equipping them with skills and opportunities to live self-reliantly. Our mission is to break the cycle of poverty and create thriving, sustainable communities. Together, we can build a world where every child is nourished, every woman is empowered, and every community flourishes.

My strong belief in the inherent goodness of humanity and deep respect for everyone’s dignity fuels my commitment to making a meaningful difference.
My interest in child welfare projects stems from the understanding that children are among the most vulnerable and underserved members of society. It is often easier to inspire change in young minds than in adults, as children tend to be less burdened by negative experiences. Their innate readiness to learn and support others makes it vital that we prioritize their well-being and development.
